The Gideon String Trio was specifically requested by Czech Radio to perform at the international music festival Musica brunensis in 2002. The trio was highly acclaimed and Czech Radio recorded the concert. Ever since its existence, the trio has played dozens of concert engagements in the Czech Republic and abroad. The success of the on-stage performances of the Gideon String Trio comes as somewhat of a surprise given the fact that the trio only started playing together relatively recently. The large numbers of performances already given, as well as very favorable reviews are undoubtedly due to the fact that all three members of the trio are among the top performers in the Czech Republic.
The ensemble performs lesser-known works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Josef Haydn, Bohuslav Martinů and Gideon Klein.
